Upwork experience

Recently, I've started an account in Upwork and spent all my free credits posting proposals to the jobs listed there. I made a total of 8 proposals, which for one I got a reply that quickly became a discussion of what would be my approach for the need of the potential client. I was sincer and did not promise anything I couldn´t do or know at the moment. They were honest too and my proposal was rejected. Even I didn´t got the job, I kind of liked to have that kind of interactions.

I haven´t received more replies to my other proposals, I might give it a try and probably I'm going to buy some of their credits but, before doing that, I though I could ask for advices for those who may have experience with these kind of sites.
